So what is going on? I think it's our fault as agents. We are not making the effort to educate our client bases about what is really happening.

Some of us are perpetuating the fear by tweeting and Facebooking bogus articles about how bad the housing economy is. I saw a tweet the other day from an out of state agent with a ton of followers stating that the only loans that he saw getting approved for buyers were those that were putting 20% down. HOGWASH!

If your last year wasn't so great...mine wasn't...get out there and let your sphere know what is really happening and make this year your best ever.

In my opinion, if you're not buying your first house, upgrading your current, or at least refinancing, your missing a golden opportunity.

If you want to spread doom and gloom, please just quit being an agent and go back to your old office job.
